This is my actual experience from leaving my wallet in a bus to getting it again in Prague.
1. I left my wallet in the bus (Airport Express) from the Prague airport to the Prague main station.
2. I realized I didn't have my wallet in my bag on the way to my hotel.
3. I told the hotel staff about what happened and asked him/her to call the office of Airport Express. (All the staffs of the hotel are so kind that I felt relieved a little.)
4. It turned out that the driver of the bus we took kept my wallet.
5. The hotel staff suggested that I should contact the driver directly at the same bus stop of the main station and get it.
6. I missed the bus (I wasn't aware of the bus which stopped on the opposite side).
7. I asked the hotel staff to call again on the following day.
8. She told me my wallet was sent to the office of lost properties in the Prague city (Karoliny Svetlé 5, Prague 1, phone: 224 235 085). The location is shown on the map above. The office hours is shown on the picture below the map which I took at the building.
9. My wallet finally came back to me without any loss. You have to bring your passport to receive it. I was told that lost items found at places other than Airport Express buses also gathered here, so if you lost something in Prague, you can inquire here.
The information about this office can be found on this site, "PRAGUE GUIDE". You can also call another "Lost and Found Office" in the Prague airport if you couldn't find your property or valuables in the former office.
Honestly, I didn't expect my wallet would return to me again during an overseas trip. I thought we should know there're not always bad people. I hope your property will be found soon.
I have watched an American TV show "The big bang theory" for a couple of weeks.
I like the starting music of the sitcom so I think I want to understand fully the lyrics.
(personal note: sitcom is the abbreviation (acronym?) of situation comedy)
I referred to this YouTube video.
Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
then nearly fourteen billion years ago explosion started... wait!!
The earth began to cool, the autotrophs began to drool,
Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall (we built the pyramids).
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries, that all started with the big bang!
Since the dawn of man is really not that long,
as every galaxy was formed in less time than it takes to sing this song.
A fraction of a second and the elements were made.
The bipets stood up straight,
The dinosaurs all met their fate,
They tried to leap but they were late, they all died (they froze their asses off)
The oceans and pangea see ya wouldn't wanna be ya set in motion by the same big bang
It all started with the big bang!
It's expanding ever outward but one day it will pause then start to go the other way,
Collapsing ever inward, we won't be here, it won't be heard
Our best and the brightest figure that it'll make an even bigger bang.
Australopithecus would really have been sick of us
debating how were here
they're catching deer (we're catching viruses)
Religion or astronomy, Encarta, Deuteronomy
It all started with the big bang!
Music and mythology, Einstein and astrology
It all started with the big bang!
